I am a huge sucker for blushes. I love how they can completely transform your face and give you a gorgeous flush to your cheeks. I especially love cream blushes because they really melt into the skin and give a little bit of hydration that my dry skin loves.
I came across this beauty while at Sephora browsing the new release section at the front of the store. I went a little swatch crazy and was having a really hard time choosing which blush to purchase. I won’t lie, it did cross my mind to bring them all home with me.. no shame. Seeing as that is going a little overboard I decided to pick up the #210 shade.
#210 is a gorgeous medium cool pink shade that really compliments my pale skin. I pick up a tiny amount of product with my fingers, pat it on my cheeks and blend out the edges with my Real Techniques Stippling Blush. Doing this gives a nice blended finish that looks really natural.
The formula is really smooth and creamy and is very easy to work with. Be sure to build it up a bit at a time as the blush is very pigmented and you need less than you would think. It does set fast so you may need to work quickly to get the blush how you want it before that happens. It doesn’t leave a tacky finish on my face at all and just feels like it’s one with my skin. I guess that’s why Make Up Forever claims it to be a “Second Skin Cream Blush”. I can definitely agree with that statement.
The Make Up Forever High Definition Cream Blush retails for $31 CAD and contains 2.8g of product. This little pot will last you ages as a little bit of product goes a long way. This is a great shade for Spring / Summer as it’s very fresh and really livens up my skin. I will be picking up more of these beauties for sure!
